We all know Gary Barlow as being one fifth of Take That. Following the launch of his single he is going it alone and taking his album ‘Since I Saw You Last’ on tour to Newcastle.
This isn’t the first time that Gary Barlow has gone solo, since the split from Take That he has written 13 number one singles and 23 top 10 hits. The singer- songwriter has had three number one albums as a solo artist.
Barlow was awarded an OBE in 2012 for his services to music and charity, he announced on Twitter last year that it has been 14 years since his first full length album.
The single ‘Let Me Go’ that was released last year entered at number three. And over 72,000 copies were sold in the first week of sale. He encouraged his twitter fans and followers to tweet #GBSOLO in order to launch the album artwork and title.
The X Factor head judge of series 8, 9 and 10 will be performing at the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle with a guest appearance from Eliza Doolittle on April 12th to showcase his new album that was launched last year in November.
