Meet The Bloggers: Digital Class

Name of blog:

Digital Classic

What is your blog about?

My blog is about technology and music. It features reviews about tech products and music equipment.

How often do you blog?

Since Christmas I have been trying to blog at least once a week.

How long have you been blogging?

I have owned my domain name since December 2013; however, I was so busy with work I finally decided to dedicate more time to my blog and restarted the blog in June 2016.

What programme do you use?

WordPress because it’s better for SEO and it’s easy to use

How do you motivate yourself to blog?

I will go onto Twitter and read other successful blogs and I watch my favourite YouTubers.

What is your favourite thing about blogging?

I have two blogs at the moment and both are very different. I hope to have another 2 blogs and a few podcast and Vlogging channels soon. I love creating content around different subjects, especially trying out new products or visiting concerts and reviewing them.

Are there any downsides to it?

I’ve been blogging for 10 months and my domain still isn’t high enough to be a brand ambassador and apply for certain assignments.  I have to save up to buy products to review because of this reason.

It can become disheartening sometimes, but keep at it and success will eventually come.

For all of us newbies to the blogging world, what is your advice to them?

Just keep writing, taking photos and add videos or podcasts to your content. Try and create a blog and social media schedule and stick to it. Sign up for free webinars such as SEO Rush, you can learn so much about blogging, gaining subscribers, monetising your blog and looking after your social media.

And just for fun, name one social media platform you could no live without?

I would be lost without Twitter, because it’s where most of my audience is and I’ve made great connections with brands and bloggers through this channel.
