I need an Adventure

If you follow me on my social media, then you will know that last month I was stuck at home for a few weeks resting after my wisdom teeth operation. And I hated being bored at home, watching loads of telly, reading books and of course writing my blog.

But the truth is- even when I am not ill- this is generally what my day looks like. Not very exciting is it? Unless I have a show/work/applying for media jobs/networking event, then I usually stay at home and I am not proud of it.

And it is time that I need to do something about it, I am so bored these days. I am in need of an adventure, I see loads of my friends and family having amazing lives/experiences on social media and I want a piece of that action.

I want to be able to say- yes I did something today. The trouble is- I don’t have enough pennies in the piggy bank, so if I do want an adventure I am going to have to start saving up. Don’t get me wrong, I do find my Culture Trips exciting and I enjoy those but it isn’t exactly flying around the world and enjoying something new. It’s going to somewhere I know in the North East, hoping on the bus and doing it.

It’s been a while since I have had a job offer in the media and as I sit here again and again wasting my time away, I may as well do something with my time and go on adventure.

Perhaps like a gap year?  Except less of the drink and more of seeing the sights and having new experiences.

I defiantly would like to visit more of the UK, I would love to go back to Chester after visiting it a few weeks back- their Christmas market is very festive. After hearing that Coventry won the City of Culture 2021- I think I need to visit there and see what culture it has to offer.

If you have any ideas of where you would like me to go, please comment below.
