My Skin Update #6

I hope you don’t mind this feature, as I have said in the past my skin is apart of my journey.

And I have not done one of these in a while so I thought I would let you know how my skin has been doing.

In half term, I went to Wales and I feel like that was the facial I really needed. Whether it was the water or the weather or simply being outside all day every day, but it really sorted my skin out.

When I returned home, I wanted to make sure that my skin did not break out. I wanted to make sure that it was the same or better as it had been on my holidays. So I looked back on the products I was using.

And this what I have been using to improve my skin.

In the morning I cleanse with Superdrug B Gel Cleanser- which they don’t make anymore so lucky I have many bottles left.

If it is a Wednesday I exfoliate with Lush Herbalism, which is a gentle scrub that helps just to give your face a deep cleanse. I tend not to use face masks as much now but if I a Lush one in the house, then I will use it if and when I need too.

I tone with tea tree water.

For moisturiser I use Lush Light Touch which is a blue soap, sorry it looks like a blue soap. This has done wonders for my skin. It just balances out my skin and has such an amazing smell, the smell relaxes and calms me down.

Light Touch is also rich in antioxidants to protect your skin from environmental damage. And I swear down when I wash my face in the evening using micellar water and a cotton pad, no dirt comes off that pad. I also like how it gives me a skin a glow, like a natural highlight.

After I moisturise, I just add a tiny bit of E45 cream- this has also been a miracle for my spots. I do add this in the morning and it helps to try my acne out and reduce redness. At night I add a tea tree gel that I had to my spots.

In the evening, I use the micellar water or Lush 9 to 5 to wash my face after a long day and I leave it like that.
