I am up to 30+ Culture Trips now which is quite impressive, I only thought I would get up to 10 so I am really happy that this content is working for me and my lovely readers.
It just started out as something that I would casually write if I had been anywhere new or if I had done something with the family. And I thought hey, this could be an ongoing feature.
When I write about the places/things to do- sometimes I don’t even plan it, I will just go out somewhere and I think oo I could write about this for my blog. Or on other occasions, I have planned to go somewhere for it solely to be about and for my blog. And there have been times when I have been out and I don’t want to write about it- sometimes I will put a picture up on my social channels.
It all depends on how I feel and that is what I would like to focus on today’s post. Why I do these Culture Trips and what impact it has on me.
The truth is I have not been very happy latly and I have been feeling like a failure. So when I go outside and a Culture Trip and write about it for my blog, I feel like I have achieved something. The only downside is that I don’t get paid. But I like that feeling when I plan content and I go out and do the journey, I do the trip and I get great photos and I can share it with you. It is that sense of achievement that I like.
It is also for me, about getting out of the house and doing something. I do tend to mope around the house and stay local. So going outside and hopping on a bus or a train to somewhere is good for my body and mind. Rather than feeling sorry for myself at home, I can distract myself out and about.
I hope you enjoy Culture Trips as much as I do and if there is anywhere you want me to go and experience then please do let me know in the comments.
