How To Become a Pilates Instructor with N-Core

N-Core is run by Nicola, a fitness professional with over 20 years of experience. Her classes are run in Clara Vale Village Hall, she also offers home-based and remote one to one sessions.

Nicola has a passion for dance, she is the co-owner of  Energize Dance, she teaches a range of classes from toddling tots right through to adults, with the ethos always being to promote ‘positive physical and mental health through music, movement and dance’.

As Nicola said

Having taken up Pilates for my own fitness and well-being, I have fallen in love with it and discovered the vast range of benefits the exercises bring. As a dancer and keen runner myself, I have come to realise that Pilates is a perfect compliment to many, if not all, forms of exercise.

Nicola classes are really friendly and relaxed with that personal touch and attention to detail. Nicola said

It is very important to me that clients feel welcomed, supported, and challenged to a level that is right for them.

The programme is perfect for correcting the wrong posture, lengthening, and strengthening the muscles, restoring vitality and invigorating the mind. In other words, ideal for improving general fitness and well-being with functional exercises, which develop the body holistically.

Obviously, all Instructors have had to put their physical classes on hold at the moment due to Covid19. I asked Nicola what it has been like

Lockdown has been very tough for me as a brand new business. I had only just built up N – Core and was building up my client base when everything locked down so it feels like I’m starting from scratch trying to get things set up online. But I’m getting there.

I’ve used the time to continue my reading and am currently in the process of developing a website so hopefully, I will be able to offer some classes from there soon. I also have my N – Core Pilates Facebook page which I’ve been regularly updating during this time.

Nicola loves teaching both dance and Pilates, and they compliment each very well. She said that It is very rewarding to see the progression through the exercises for her clients in Pilates and see the improvement week by week.

Whether you are a complete beginner or have experience in Pilates, Nicola would love to be part of your journey.
