Did you know that there is two angel of the norths? Neither did I, there is the infamous one in Gateshead and one in Hexhamshire.
I came upon it on social media and I wanted to find out where it was.

Did some googling and some research and I found out that it was based in Whitley Chapel.

On a public footpath filled with sheep, it is at the top of the field slap bang in the middle and it is quite a spectacle.

It is opposite a cottage if you need a reference point and you really can’t miss it.

We have no idea why it is there, how it is mean there or who even made it. It is really impressive and looks like the real one.

If you know why it is there then please let me know.

Brill find Gemma. We just discovered this a few weeks ago and then found your fab article about it while we were doing research for our own blog.
We couldn’t find what it’s for either 🙂
Cheers

I have tried to find it but had no success. How do get there from whitley chapel or is it closer to juniper?

If you visit Fabulous North https://fabulousnorth.com/place/view/angel-of-northumberland/ go to the bottom of the page and they have a useful guide of how to get there.
