Here we are in Lockdown 2.0 and I am starting to think about how it is affecting my blog. I don’t want to sound negative but it is something I need to think about.
Gemma’s Journey is not a business, so it is not affecting me financially but it is affecting my content. Due to the pandemic, we are only allowed out for essential journeys, so whilst I have been going out for my walks, I am unable to go out for Culture Trips, Theatre and Events.
So what do I do? I need to try and adapt, that may mean adapting to how the industry is going ie online streaming events and writing about those. Or do I turn to write about my Journalism Journey, Career Advice etc? Or find another passion in life so I can create content about that?
I really don’t want to change Gemma’s Journey as that means I have given up or the industry has given up on me.
But I have to think about the what-ifs and how I can create content in this global pandemic.
