About Me

Hello, it just occurred to me that I have had this blog since the start of 2017 and I have never really properly introduced myself. So keep reading to find out a little bit  more about me.

I am a journalism graduate from the North East.

I have been writing since around 2012 and I like to think that I am getting the hang of this blogging thing.

Originally I’m from  a small town called Greenside, then I moved to Prudhoe- Northumberland in 2005 and I have been here ever since.  But I am looking to spread my wings as I progress through my journalism journey.

I am currently dancing through life though you may find me working part time in retail.

I started my blog in January 2017 as a way for me to develop my online brand and express myself through writing.  Plus having a blog looks great for employers so they can see what I am all about.

It started out as a way for me to log my journalism journey, talking about blogging, work experience, interview prep and how I was getting on with my job searches.

But then I wanted to inject my passion (which is Culture) into my blog. I started doing reviews, previews, culture trips, blogs about the theatre industry and many more theatre/art/culture features which I am really happy with.

This blog is for any graduate like myself who is struggling to find their voice in the industry yet it is also for those who love anything arty farty as I would say.

I hope you can sit back and relax and enjoy what I have to offer you lovely readers.
