If you have been following my blog since I started it, then you will know that my career has been like a roller coaster and I have not really known what to do or where I should go next.
Well a few weeks ago, I was at a placement with a marketing company (the same one I was at in October) and again- I really enjoyed it. At first I didn’t think that I would be able to do what was asked but when I got there, it was the total opposite.
Id like to say that I fit it rather well and I was able to use my skills and experiences in Journalism to PR and Marketing.
It is because of that week of work experience, that I have finally found my mojo and I think I know what I want do now as a career. Which is a great thing to know, especially now as it is heading towards the start of the new year.
Now that I know what I want to do, I can start working on it- whether that is more work/experience for the company that I was at or getting more experience from other companies or even now starting to apply for marketing jobs.
I feel like I am going towards the right direction with my career now and I am starting to feel more confident in myself that I can do it.
So fingers crossed, from 2018- you will start to see more positive posts from me on my journalism journey.
