
Sam Dickinson, singer songwriter from Newcastle will be putting on a special gig in April to raise funds for Teenage Cancer Trust.
The performance will be at The Mining Institute on Saturday 21st April and it will also be celebrating Sam’s 30th Birthday.
This is Sam’s 10th year singing in front of audiences, where at the fabulous venue of The Mining Institute he will be performing his new music from a 3 part EP, the disco infused new album ‘Off Script’ and his yet to be premiered collaboration with soul band Cool Million, all due a 2018 release.
His last album, 2013’s ‘The Stories That Occurred’ payed homage to the sounds of 60’s soul and was a considerable success for an unsigned artist. He charted in the Top 40 of the iTunes Soul Chart, the Top 40 of YouTube’s UK most watched chart and was the highest iTunes charting pre order for an unsigned soul act. As well as receiving airplay from the UK’s biggest radio station, BBC Radio 2.
